Amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Regulation of Businesses Trades and Professions,” to add a new Chapter creating penalties for trespassing in retail establishments, all under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 9-6200 of The Philadelphia Code hereby reads as follows:

§ 9-6200. Trespassing in Retail Establishments  

(1)                     No individual shall trespass in a retail establishment after they have been prohibited from entering by a business owner.

(2)                     The fine for trespassing shall be one thousand dollars ($1,000).

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
